TÜBİTAK 1001 projesi olarak 2012-2015 yılları arasında Uluslararası Kıbrıs Üniversitesi Öğretim üyesi Doç. Dr. Sevinç Kurt tarafından yürütülen “Kıbrıs- Akıncılar (Louroujina) Köyünün Korunması, Rehabilitasyonu ve Yeniden Canlandırılması Kapsamında Yerel bir Kalkınma Stratejisi Geliştirilmesi” başlıklı proje kapsamında yapılan belgeleme, analiz, yenileme ve öneri master plan çalışmalarını içeren (Akıncılar) sergisi 21-25 Mart tarihlerinde Dekanlık Sergi Salonunda ziyaret edilebilir.

 

Bilge Serin (METU CRP 2007; graduate student at the Heriot-Watt University, School of the Built Environment) will be presenting "The Promised Lands, Media and the Production of Urban Space: The Case of Branded Housing Projects".

At the 20th anniversary of its MSc Urban Design Program, METU Faculty of Architecture organises an international symposium on urban design to be held on 4-5 October 2016 in Ankara, Turkey. The main aim of the symposium is to bring researchers, professionals and educators together, to attain a rich discussion on the past, present and future conditions of urban design.

The thematic presentations and debates within the symposium are to be conducted under the specific titles of ideology, sociology, bio-ecology, morphology, methodology, pedagogy and praxis. The papers to be submitted for the symposium are expected to cover one of these seven titles which represent the prominent areas to reflect on the principal issue.

The symposium, in this way, is believed to steer future debates with a series of brand new generative ideas and triggering questions, if not concluding answers for designing the domain of urban design.

The Exhibition: Access to All
The opening of "Engelsiz Mimarlık" will be on February 29th 2016 at 12:30; the exhibition can be visited at Faculty of Architecture Exhibition Hall till March 11th 2016. Designed by Demirdağlar Mimarlık of Ankara specifically for the Faculty complex the exhibition presents an all-inclusive architecture that calls for the participation of the members of the Faculty of Architecture.

Kentsel Tasarım Yüksek Lisans Stüdyosu'nda 2015-2016 Sonbahar Dönemi sonunda üretilmiş olan 'Gelecekçi Şehircilik' (Futurist Urbanism) temalı final projelerini içeren ve Kubbealtı önünde düzenlenen sergiyi 23-26 Şubat 2016 tarihleri arasında ziyaret edebilirsiniz.

ODTÜ Mimarlık Fakültesi’nin Değerli Üyeleri;
