The Red Dot Design Ranking 2016 honors enterprise and institutions who have continuously pursued design excellence. The ranking is computed using a weighted formula considering the cumulative number and classes of awards received over recent five years. The Red Dot Design Ranking released by the Red Dot Institute consists of four honorary lists for Companies, Design Studios, Universities in Asia Pacific and Universities in Americas and Europe.

1998 yılında başlattığı hareketle öğrencilerin hayatına anlamlı bir dokunuşta bulunan Arif Aygündüz, burs projesiyle öğrencilere sadece ekonomik olarak değil sosyal ve kültürel destekte de bulunduklarını belirtiyor. TEV’in bünyesindeki 1.150 fondan biri olarak kurulan bu fon; özveri, birebir iletişim ve dürüst yaklaşımla kısa zamanda en büyük ilk 10 fon arasına giriyor. Bir fikrin ve bireysel bir çabanın ne kadar büyük güce sahip olabileceğini bize hatırlatan Arif Aygündüz hepimize çağrıda bulunuyor: “Hemen şimdi harekete geçin ve birinin hayatına dokunun. Destek olun ki başkaları da sayenizde ivme kazansın.”

In its simplest sense, the ‘house’ sustains its adventure, which started as ‘an owned place’ and ‘shelter’, through variations in meaning and function that sway between ‘personal space’ and the ‘public domain’. In this sense, it is possible to perceive, study and discuss the ‘house’ on the timeline between the point when the ‘cavern’ was the plainest form of the house and its present state where it has become a popular consumption commodity. Please click here for more information

Baykan Günay akademik ve mesleki yaşamı boyunca kentte nitelik arayışı peşinde koşmuştur. Akademik çalışmalarında sürekli “şehircilik nedir?” “planlama ile mimarlık ve peyzaj mimarlığı arasında nasıl bir birliktelik kurulabilir?” sorularını sormuş, birçok çalışmasında kentsel mekânı biçimlendirme süreçlerinin tek bir disiplinin tekeline bırakılamayacağını belirtmiş, bu süreçte planlama, mimarlık, peyzaj mimarlığı, tasarım ve diğer alanlardan uzmanların bir araya gelmesi gerektiğini vurgulamıştır.
