METU Faculty of Architecture Replies: Not Yet...

The 3rd Istanbul Design Biennial, which will be open between 22 October - 30 December 2016, revolves around the question as: Are We Human? Curated by Beatriz Colomina and Mark Wigley, this international event is to provoke the idea that design itself needs to be redesigned, by exploring the intricate relationship between "design" and "its human aspects." In this regard, METU Faculty of Architecture replies their inquiry with its own satirical repertoire via the faculties of pure planning and design; "not yet..."

TÜBİTAK 1001 projesi olarak 2012-2015 yılları arasında Uluslararası Kıbrıs Üniversitesi Öğretim üyesi Doç. Dr. Sevinç Kurt tarafından yürütülen “Kıbrıs- Akıncılar (Louroujina) Köyünün Korunması, Rehabilitasyonu ve Yeniden Canlandırılması Kapsamında Yerel bir Kalkınma Stratejisi Geliştirilmesi” başlıklı proje kapsamında yapılan belgeleme, analiz, yenileme ve öneri master plan çalışmalarını içeren (Akıncılar) sergisi 21-25 Mart tarihlerinde Dekanlık Sergi Salonunda ziyaret edilebilir.
